Tex Mex Connection is a family owned business which has been serving the community for over twenty years. We are a scratch house, which means all food is prepared fresh daily on premises- even our chips and salsa are homemade. All managers and food handlers are Serv Safe Certified, and we are the winner of the Pennsylvania Restaurant Association Food Safety Award for independent restaurants in 2005.
Tex Mex is not just a family business- we are a family of staff with years of tenure, we have many regular guests who have been with us since the day we opened. We offer our full menu in the main dining room located on the second floor as well as in our downstairs bar, famous for our ‘house’ and ‘premium’ margaritas. The menu’s ‘Traditional Section’ features items which we have always offered, while the ‘Seasonal Selections Section’ features Mexican favorites, as well as southwestern cuisine and modern American cuisine fused with indigenous southwestern flavors. The Seasonal Selections changes each spring and fall.
We are active in the community and with local charities. The 5k run which benefits the Wissahickon Water Shed Association has been an annual event for over 15 years.
The atmosphere is upbeat, casual, and lots of fun. We hope you’ll come by and join in the festivities soon.
